Ning Yang is a Ph.D. student in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He earned his Bachelor degree (2013) in Hydraulics Engineering at Shenyang Agricultural University, in China, and Master degree (2021) in Hydraulics and River Dynamics at Dalian University of Technology in China. During his master`s period, his research mainly focused on the prediction of urban flood risk by combining hydraulics simulator and AI.
