Heejun Park is a master student at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Her research interests include climate change and hydrometeorology. In particular she has a passion for predicting damages from natural disasters and how those could be affected by climate and land use changes. Additionally, she is interested in exploring novel methodologies of improving hydrologic forecast skills with the use of remotely sensed data.
