Amanda Craver is currently a graduate student in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Amanda obtained her Bachelor’s Degree at Bucknell University in Environmental Engineering. During her career at Bucknell University, Amanda worked as a research assistant in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, regarding water quality in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed and algae nutrient recovery in man-made wetlands treating agricultural runoff. After her career at Bucknell University, she worked for the engineering design firm, GHD, Inc on various water and wastewater treatment projects for municipal and industrial clients. She is now interested in exploring water quality modeling utilizing remote sensing for vulnerable water bodies affected by agricultural activities.
